Yorbe Vertessen seems to have played last game for PSV

Yorbe Vertessen is still fighting for the national title in Belgium, but at the same time the fast Belgian seems to have already played his last match for PSV.

This week it was announced that PSV will soon make a million-dollar bid for the striker of FC Groningen. “Ricardo Pepi is one of the possible candidates who have to compete with De Jong. However, Earnest Stewart does not focus blindly on his compatriot and is also exploring other options.”

According to Voetbal International, it is also important to look at wingers. “It is important for De Jong that after the summer he receives more supply from the flank attackers in particular, but also from the backs, than was the case this season. Through the air, but also over the ground, the striker is very strong in the penalty area, provided he is served well. PSV will have to attract one, but probably two left wingers to really absorb Gakpo’s departure. Thorgan Hazard seems too expensive in terms of salary, it is expected that the Belgian will return to Dortmund, where he is still under contract.”
