PSV still has to do everything possible to secure the Champions League ticket. ON a visit to AZ, PSV knows what the club has to do.
Willem van Hanegem certainly has a hard head in it. The AD analyst and columnist thinks that PSV is too easily satisfied. Van Hanegem is not surprised by the draw against Heerenveen. He made this known in his weekly column for the Algemeen Dagblad.
‘I’ve been saying the same thing about PSV for a long time. That they are very quickly satisfied there and often with nothing. If they really want to participate next season – and that is something you can expect from that club – then a lot has to change in the summer. The fact that Heerenveen failed to secure the preliminary round of the Champions League did not surprise me. It’s just not stable, if they play nice for once they’re so happy with themselves there.’
Van Hanegem foresees a disaster scenario for PSV this Sunday. ‘To be honest, I also think that PSV will lose to AZ on Sunday. There they play the football that PSV should play. Much neater, much more with an idea’, it sounds critical.
