Transfer Kerkez beckons: “No more secret”

Milos Kerkez seems to be leaving AZ this summer. After the 0-3 win at NEC, the wing defender confirmed that there is a lot of interest.

In conversation with The Telegraph Kerkez writes: “No, it’s no longer a secret that many clubs are interested in me. Max (technical director Max Huiberts, ed.) told me that himself. He says they have spoken to many clubs. That’s football. I’ve obviously done well this season.”

Kerkez is still stuck in Alkmaar until mid-2026. AZ can therefore earn a serious transfer fee from him, but according to the protagonist, the interest is ‘very serious’. What does he want? “In any case, I want to go to a club where I will play a lot. It’s not about the money, it’s about my development.”

“We will see what will happen, my father is on top of it so that I can concentrate on football. But now the focus is full on PSV. After that we will see what the future brings me”, said Kerkez, who does not lose sight of third place. “To win. We’ll see if that’s enough for third place.”
