The suspect was filmed after the stabbing incident, while he cycled away on a black women’s bicycle with a luggage rack in the front. Since then, the police have been looking for this young man. The young man has a light complexion and is probably around 16 to 17 years old. According to the police, the suspect was wearing a dark blue Armani jacket with a gray logo during the incident. He was also wearing black sweatpants and a black shoulder bag.
In the stabbing, which took place on Sunday, April 2, around 6:30 p.m. opposite a catering facility on Gedempte Zuiderdiep, a minor boy from the municipality of Central Groningen was stabbed in the leg. After the incident, the victim first tried to get to a hospital herself (with the help of a friend), but was then taken to a hospital by an ambulance.
