Favero Assioma Uno power meter
You can actually see it from the name of the product. This power meter is a single-sided power meter (hence the word Uno in the name) with the wattage meter in the left pedal. The brand is Favero and Assioma is the name of the power meters of this brand (which are also available in two-sided, called Duo). Do you want to use this pedal power meter? Then you need cycling shoes with Look Keo cleats. Unfortunately, as with the Garmin Rally pedal power meters, there are not multiple models for different cleat types.
Interesting to know: The Favero Assioma can measure the Power Phase of your pedal stroke. This way you can see exactly in what percentage of the pedal stroke you deliver power. This power meter also knows when you are standing in the pedals or when you are sitting on the saddle.
Buy Favero Assioma power meter pedals

Design of Favero’s pedal power meter
With the Favero Assioma pedals, the electronics are processed around the axis of the pedal instead of at the bottom. This way there is still the same amount of space to the ground from the bottom of the pedal. There is also no difference in the size of the pedal compared to many other Look Keo pedals. Unlike Garmin’s pedal power meters, this one uses a built-in rechargeable lithium battery that you can charge using the included charging cable. The Garmin pedals use separate batteries. The Favero Assioma power meter lasts 50 hours before it needs to be recharged.
Alternatives to the Favero Assioma Uno power meter
Do you want to delve into the various options before purchasing? Then we have listed several other options here. A power meter incorporated in the pedal has several advantages. This way you can easily put the pedals on another bike. You have nothing to do with the crank arm length. Ideal, especially when the crank arm length can be changed after a bike fitting. You can also take the power meter with you and place it on a rental bike abroad, for example during a training camp.
- Favero Assioma Duo (double-sided power meter for Look Keo cleats only)
- Favero Assioma Duo-Shi SPD-SL Pedals (double sided power meter for custom pedal bodies)
- Garmin Rally 100 (single-sided power meter available for different cleats)
- Garmin Rally 200 (dual-sided power meter available for different cleats)
Good to know: The single-sided Favero power meter also has an upgrade option so that you can easily turn it into a double-sided power meter if you wish.
Installing the Assioma Uno power meter
Installing the Favero Assioma power meter is easy and fast using the Favero app. In this app you can set the precise crank arm length. You can also install the latest updates using the app. In case of temperature changes (for example when you go outside cycling with Zwift) this power meter ensures an automatic calibration. Watch the video below to learn how to install the Favero Assioma power meter.
The Favero Assioma Uno power meter pedals are priced cheaper than the single sided Garmin Rally pedals. That’s nice because power meter pedals are often already highly priced. A disadvantage of these pedals is that you can only use them in combination with cycling shoes with Look Keo cleats. If you have these cycling shoes at home, the Favero Assioma Uno single-sided Look Keo power meter pedals are a really good option. The pedals are also very precise. When measuring, they often deviate no more than 1%. You can later expand this single-sided power meter to a double-sided one. This is especially useful if there is a (much) difference in the force you deliver with your left and right leg.
