Noa Lang enrages Toby Alderweireld with provocative stoppage time action

Noa Lang angered Toby Alderweireld on Sunday afternoon in the wrestling match between Club Brugge and Antwerp FC. With a 2-0 lead, Lang decided to stand on the ball in stoppage time. That action was not appreciated by Alderweireld, defender of Antwerp.

Lang explained afterwards how he experienced the moment. “In the end I wanted to have a little fun, but Alderweireld was a bit annoyed,” he told Eleven Sports. “It’s just part of football and I’m just that kind of player. If you don’t like it, just tackle me on the pitch and don’t act like a little baby.”
