There is probably no future at PSV for young Portuguese striker Fábio Silva.
The Eindhovens Dagblad reports that there is a very good chance that Fábio Silva will leave Eindhoven again after this season. PSV has been committed to a longer stay for the Portuguese for some time, but Wolverhampton Wanderers is asking for a huge lump sum for a final purchase. A substantial amount is also requested for a new rental, while PSV initially wants to buy a new striker.
Silva will only stay with PSV if Wolverhampton Wanderers wants to let the striker go for a manageable price. For the time being, however, there is no evidence that the English club is willing to do so. Technical director Earnie Stewart previously indicated that a rental structure is not desirable and that a rental structure is not the first approach for PSV.
PSV is fully engaged in the succession of Fábio Silva. Ricardo Pepi is one of the players who is in the picture to compete with Luuk de Jong. The United States international has now also aimed his arrows at PSV, but FC Augsburg is currently asking too much money.
PSV seems to want to pay about 7 million, while Augsburg seems to want to receive at least 10 million. In addition, many other clubs are also interested in his arrival.
