It goes completely wrong in Alkmaar: AZ ‘fans’ fight with West Ham

Supporter violence remains a recurring problem. On Thursday afternoon, apparently in the middle of residential areas, there was a massive fight between ‘supporters’ of AZ and West Ham United. Even fighters from faraway Groningen would be present to fight. They would be on the side of West Ham, so against AZ.

AZ will play against West Ham in the semi-final of the Conference League on Thursday evening at 9 p.m. in the AFAS Stadium. Last week they lost 2-1 in London. The fights in Alkmaar on Friday afternoon logically only know losers.
