FC Groningen striker Ricardo Pepi has become a more than serious target for Earnie Stewart and Marcel Brands.

A profit at Heerenveen could mean that the American striker can already be a member of PSV this week. The club seems to be negotiating with employer Augsburg, but there is no agreement yet. The amounts that are doing the rounds cannot yet be confirmed, but the transfer seems imminent.

What kind of striker will PSV bring in? Ricardo Daniel Pepi is an American-Mexican footballer who usually plays as a striker. Pepi should initially become a stand-in for Luuk de Jong. In January 2022 he exchanged FC Dallas for FC Augsburg, which rented him out to FC Groningen in August 2022. Pepi made his debut in the United States national football team in 2021.
