Eufy Video Doorbell Dual now compatible with HomeBase 3

We had to wait a long time for it and in our review of the Eufy Video Doorbell Dual and among other articles we were regularly asked if the video doorbell is suitable for the new HomeBase 3. The new home station was launched with the EufyCam 3 Several older video doorbells and cameras were already supported at launch, but Eufy’s Dual video doorbell is not yet. Support has been delayed time and time again, but if you look at Eufy’s Compatibility List now, support is finally available. From now on you can add the video doorbell with two cameras to the HomeBase 3.

Where the regular 2K Video Doorbell can be used with the new HomeBase from the start, support for the Dual Doorbell has been postponed time and time again. We suspect it had to do with the facial recognition of both the video doorbell and the new home station. Both products have facial recognition and that may have clashed with each other. Several users have reported via Reddit that they have now been able to connect the Eufy Video Doorbell Dual to the new HomeBase 3. However, it is not yet available for all users. Eufy is releasing the firmware update in phases, so you may have to be patient.
