The Xperia 10V is not only equipped with a large capacity battery that can play approximately 34 hours of continuous video playback, but also has the world’s lightest body, realized with a slim bezel that is easy to operate with one hand. This device also has a strong and durable Corning Gorilla Glass Victus display.

In terms of camera performance, the Xperia 10V is equipped with a new image sensor that is approximately 1.6 times larger than the previous model, enabling low-noise shots even in dark locations.

In addition, the 6.1-inch OLED display with Full HD+ is about 1.5 times brighter than the previous model. The TRILUMINOS screen for smartphones uses Sony’s years of TV expertise to optimize the screen for watching movies. This ensures that the Xperia 10V displays beautiful, vibrant images.

Equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack, this unit also supports LDAC wireless transmission technology, which allows one to enjoy high-quality, high-resolution sound with both wired and wireless headphones. In addition, DSEE Ultimate, which uses Sony’s proprietary AI technology, reproduces the streaming service’s sound source with high-quality sound in high resolution.

conditions and subject detection technology to automatically select the ideal settings for the best shot, so you don’t have to waste time choosing settings.

With a choice of three lenses on the rear camera (focal lengths 16mm (F2.2), 26mm (F1.8) and 54mm (F2.2)), a variety of different shots are possible. In addition, the
wide-angle lens equipped with a new image sensor that is about 1.6 times larger than it
previous model. With this image sensor more light can be captured and this allows clearer shots in dark locations with less noise. Optical image stabilization makes it possible to capture beautiful images of difficult-to-photograph dark locations, scenes with high contrasts and night scenes.

The hand shutter function on the front camera enables hands-free easy selfies by automatically releasing the shutter when you point your palm at the device.

Sony’s unique hybrid image stabilization (Optical SteadyShot), which combines optical image stabilization and electronic image stabilization, makes it possible to record even sharper video recordings.

The Xperia 10V comes in the same colors (lavender, sage green, white and black) as Sony’s latest true wireless earbuds WF-C700N (sold separately). e-SIM support is also offered by this device and in addition to the built-in memory of 6GB (RAM) / 128GB (ROM), it is compatible with microSDXC up to 1TB, so you can store large amounts of content without having to purchase expensive cloud subscription packages.

Sustainability

Sony has drawn up the environmental plan “Road to Zero” that aims for zero environmental impact by 2050. To achieve this, Sony is taking action and setting environmental targets step by step. As part of these environmental goals, they aim to completely eliminate plastic packaging for newly designed small products by 2025. The Xperia 10V does not use plastic in its individual packaging. This device also uses Sony’s unique Original Blended Material for the product box and main compartment, which is made from bamboo, sugar cane fibers and recycled paper. In addition, SORPLAS has been used as a raw material for some elements of both the internal and external housing of the device.

The Sony Xperia 10V will be available from mid-June in lavender, sage green, white and black for €449.
