It goes without saying that you will install applications on a Mac yourself. These can be standard Apple apps such as iMovie or Pages, but also third-party apps. Eventually you may want to completely remove one or more applications.
Removing Mac App Store applications is simple and is easiest done through Launchpad. If you have installed apps outside the Mac App Store, it’s a different story. You can’t just remove these by default like the Mac App Store apps. Often there is still ‘junk’ left behind and the app is not erased properly. To avoid this, you can remove applications from your Mac using CleanMyMac’s ‘Uninstaller’.
