This weekend it’s Mother’s Day again. Mother’s Day used to be very simple because you just made something at school, your father bought a present and your mother was happy with her macaroni necklace or decorated jar which was a tea light holder. Life was so simple when you were young. Fortunately, I have enough inspiration to buy something nice for my mother for Mother’s Day and I already have her present at home. But recently I was at the Douglas and I saw very nice budget-friendly gifts from Douglas Home Spa that are extremely suitable for Mother’s Day and are also budget-proof. Although I initially opted for a perfume from the Seathalasso line, I eventually went home with the Leilani Bliss perfume. If you are curious about this line, read on.

Douglas Home Spa consists of 7 different fragrance lines:

• Leilani Bliss
• Seatalasso
• Mystery of Hammam
• Harmony of Ayurveda
• Spirit of Asia
• Joy of Light
• Ceremony of Vasta (this is a line for men)

Each line consists of a shower foam, shower gel, body scrub, bath fizzer, body lotion and a hand cream.

My opinion

At the moment the Douglas Home Spa range is on offer and I only paid € 15 for the 100 ml perfume. It was quite a difficult choice because at first I stood with the perfume of the Seathalasso line in my hands. A line with jasmine, lilac, orange blossom, white musk and cedar notes as fragrance notes. Until I smelled the Leilani Bliss at the checkout and actually immediately turned back to the box. Although I really want to add the Seathalasso to my collection, the Leilani Bliss is the fragrance line for me for the coming summer months. Leilani Bliss has the notes of white flowers, coconut milk, vanilla and citrus. A sunny and exotic mixture that simply reminds you of vacation. What could be nicer that reminds you of a tropical holiday with the Dutch summer weather?

I get a bit of a Rituals vibe from the Douglas Home Spa line, but for a more pleasant price. In any case, the perfume lingers for a long time and you don’t need a lot because the scent is clearly present. I am now also very curious about the other products from this line and the other fragrance lines. So if you are still looking for a budget-proof gift for Mother’s Day, then the products from the Douglas Home Spa are highly recommended.
