According to various Spanish media, FC Barcelona has reached an agreement with Philips about shirt sponsorship. The Dutch company will, according to, among other things ASH and Mundo Deportivo appear on the sleeve.

Philips is of course known in the Netherlands for PSV. The name giver of the club has not been on the shirt of the people of Eindhoven for years, but will therefore fill the greenhouse of the Spanish superpower next season. According to Forbes and Mundo Deportivo the club will pay a total of around 56 million euros for a five-year deal.

Barcelona is known to have major financial problems. The club can Mundo Deportivo use this money to strengthen the selection. However, the club also knows that Financial Fair Play and La Liga rules make it impossible to register new players without men leaving.

With the approaching farewell of Sergio Busquets, tens of millions will be released in the salary house. In addition, several players are nominated to leave the Catalans to further expand the club’s greenhouse.
