Adobe (Nasdaq:ADBE) has integrated Adobe Firefly with Google’s Bard and is also announcing expansion of its Content Authenticity Initiative.

Adobe Firefly

Adobe Firefly is a new group of creative generative AI models for image generation, text effects, and more. Within a month, it has become one of the company’s most successful betas. Users generated more than 70 million images using capabilities such as text-to-image, vector recoloring, and text animation.

Adobe and Google are teaming up to integrate Firefly into Bard, Google’s experimental AI service. This makes it possible to continue the creative journey in Adobe Express. In the coming months, Firefly will become Bard’s primary AI partner as it will power and emphasize its text-to-image capabilities.

“Adobe Firefly beta demonstrates the power and potential of generative AI. This tool can inspire people to create. It also clearly demonstrates the demand for a creator-centric approach that is commercially viable,” said Ely Greenfield, CTO, Digital Media at Adobe. “We enable millions of people to use Firefly for creative inspiration and design. And through our integration with Google’s Bard, users can share content through Adobe Express.”
